Meet Emma
Emma Marlowe is an international show jumper representing the USA with experience and results around the globe, from young horses to CSI5* competition. In addition to her riding pursuits, Emma distinguishes herself through her passion for training and development of both horses and riders.
Originally hailing from California, Emma comes by her love of horses naturally. While growing up, she spent most of her time working alongside her mother, Debi Marlowe, who ran the teaching program at a local riding school. After growing up in the barn, she later moved on to be a working student for Leslie Steele, where her formal education progressed bounds. Through catch-riding opportunities, she realized a successful junior career in the hunters and equitation.
Following the end of her junior career in 2018, Emma moved to the East Coast to immediately begin work as a professional rider for Trelawny Farm. Emma has now competed from the National to CSI5* level across North America, Canada, and Europe. She has also competed on the Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) circuit, garnering multiple seasons under her belt as a team member for Eye Candy Jumpers and the Trelawny Trailblazers.
Emma’s greatest passion is learning, and she has most recently been a student of the sport under the tutelage of Paul O’Shea and Gerry Mullins. She is currently based in the United States working with AS Sport Horses, where she rides, competes, and develops high-level sale horses while continuing her own progression in the sport. Emma works closely alongside Abdel Said and Samuel Hutton, competing across major U.S. circuits and contributing to the training and presentation of top horses for international competition and sale. Her long-term goals include competing, developing, and training horses and riders at the highest level of show jumping, as well as representing Team USA.
